Correct. Captures and castling moves take 2x time, of course. And some pieces are not lifted up and moved, but pushed over the board (long rook moves for example), that is a little bit faster (6 seconds).
I made some measurements (divided the overall time, the SenseRobot showed on its clock by the number of played moves) and got an average move-time for SenseRobot of around 11 seconds. So, for a 80 move (160 plies) game, the SenseRobot will need around 15 minutes to make its 80 moves on the board.
Playing faster is not possible. The robotic arm is - of course - the limit.
