Here -Qxg3+ is draw!?
You're fully right, Jouni, in the latest version of HTC I have (that Vincent reduced to 108 positions way back then

forum3/viewtopic.php?p=915515#p915515

) it's stored as nr. 54 with this main line

1... Qxg3+ 2. fxg3 Rc2+ 3. Kxh3 Rh2+ 4. Kg4 Rh4+ 5. Kg5 Rg4+ 1/2-1/2

BTW, in Walter Eigenmann's Glarean magazine it was shown long ago in this one modification too, according to my database, regards
Peter.

rj329 wrote: Thu Mar 20, 2025 6:56 am I saw it from 2022 to 2023, it was in a testposition suite. Unfortunately I'm not able to search for these positions cause you need to search for at least 4 characters :(

And it's possible, that the initial moves were 1... Qf2 or ...Qxf2 or ...Qg3 or ...Qxg3. But pretty sure they were the ones I initially mentioned
And you don't mean Mihai Neghina's Chase, do you?

Afair it was used in suites as test position now and then too andy maybe starting with one move cut off, so that a new 1...Qxg3+ (instead of 2...) could appear, regards
Nope, it specifically is a forced kingwalk after which the white king gets checkmated.

I've found it and I definitely misremembered a lot of details, looks like it is very easy for Stockfish 17!

Seems Eduard N. had it in one of his test suites way back then

viewtopic.php?p=938105#p938105

According to this posting of him (scroll down to the very end) it seems to be out of a game Blue Marlin vs. SF, user dorsz did let play once in a while maybe, regards
Peter.
