Excalibur Avenger

Post by fern »

This is a little sensor computer that I bought some time ago and I have not been capable of getting info about it. It offer lot of features that are not present in modern current products from that already deceased brand. I suppose is Ron Nelson programming but nothing else, no elo rating, nothing.
Someone here knows something?
Steve B?

the excalibur avenger is a dedicated chess computer with program from guyla horvath (pandix programmer) on a h8 cpu that can be overclocked from 10 mhz (20 mhz quarz) up to 16 mhz (32 mhz quarz).

if you switch it on it says HELLO, this is a good indicator for the program pandix (it is in some other dedicated units too).

you can change the style, and even single features of styling. it also has a what if feature.

a very nice little chess computer.

i had it in my fingers 2 days ago !

the avenger is a mobile machine with only battery usage possible.

enjoy it.

i hope guyla horvath would one day bring out his latest pandix PC program.
we would be very happy to try it out, wouldn't we ?

Thank you Thorsten, by the data!
Now tell me, How strong it is? I have it since long ago and still I have never played a full game with it, for some reason or another I have put it off, perhaps due to the paltry quality of the tiny plastic pieces.....

HHHHAAAAAAAhahahahaha
How do you pretend, my dear friend, That I am going to remember each question and each post I have ever posted here?
I am not, like you, only attending old ladies that brings her money to you for you to keep in in safe; I have three jobs, write books, give conferences and advice the gov.
I can forget about Avenger, I think...

...and as punishment for your unfriendly comment I condemn you to..

....delivering to me tomorrow morning one piece of your collection, any you consider too many times already on your shelves.

The Elders agree on that regards

i will also remember that you could not even bother to post once ..when i was blogging here during my ordeal with Hurricane Irene

you will notice in this thread how hundreds of CCC members followed my minute by minute blog and all wished me good luck and prayed for my safety ..as the flood waters engulfed my home and almost reached to my neck
i almost drowned

http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40201

and all the while..during this exact time..when i was in the most danger
you posted here several times ..without a care in the world ..about the latest versions of PC Engines ..Arafat or Arasan or Komando Keane or whatever they are called

Deeply Hurt Regards

As much as you live in a palace with an steel underground room for your computers, I doubt very much you even perceived that is was rainy, exception made of your personnel made of cheap oriental sub payed poor people that drowned by the scores, but you always can replace them with the next shipping of workers.

At most your sockets went humid regards
