Hi Hemesh,

Congratulations on the official release of OwenBOT / Owen v1.0.0.

I am sure several experienced testers and engine enthusiasts here will try it and help establish its approximate place among the current chess engines. It is always interesting to see a new engine appear and begin its public testing stage.

For my part, I have already started running some small initial tests against other engines. Nothing formal yet, just a first look to see how it behaves.

One small question: sorry if I simply missed it, but I could not find an official logo for Owen. If there is one, it would be great if you could share it. It would be useful for people who want to test the engine in GUIs, tournaments, broadcasts, or private rating lists.

Thank you for sharing your work, and best wishes for the future development of Owen.

I do hope that you'll train your own net rather than using a Stockfish one.

That's not how CCRL works. The engine has to be tested by CCRL testers themselves before it will be added to their rating list. They have a very large queue of new and updated engines that they have to go through, and testing each engine takes many days. So, I recommend patience.
