Hi Graham,

Fritz 19 is much more aggressive as the older versions, I like first time the style of chess if I compare to Fritz 17 / 18.
All programs in your tourney I like a lot. Black Marlin have a big move-average and lost games fast but the endgame is for the strength a little wonder. Very own style of chess.

Starzix should be go higher I think.
I am testing a bit Starzsix and Lizard with 6+3 on my i7 11Gen, 3GHz ultrabook ...
I will add the results later this day.

But all in all ...
Most I like Pawn because I saw many nice games in my tournament with longer time-controls and Altair is not easy to beat, also for the stronger engines. Marvin is wonderful, in each of my tourneys on start and Nemorino is also stronger with more time. Unfortunately, the Nemorino programmer lost a bit interest on chess programming. Not all like Neural-Network and I can understand him. So we should thinking about it to create special weeks around Nemorino. A very nice programmer with so many great ideas.

:-)

Again, a nice tourney, great engines, a great Graham since many years, all is wonderful.

Have a good start in the year 2024!

Best
Frank
