What ever happened to the "The ChessLab" by DGT-Projects. Is the project dead? I remember reading on the chessbase website sometime in 2005 where they stated:
"In the future DGT Projects plans to provide the concept of the “ChessLab” to all interested chess schools and federations world wide."
I thought this would be a great idea, hell I wished that the local chess clubs I've been to had a room like this.
However for the price of a DGT Board alone, one can buy a complete PC. I bought my niece a Brand new "cheap" Acer 3680 laptop for $400.00 USD about 9 or 10 month ago that is still working just fine to this day. Anyway I could not find any news when I Googled the subject and since the project does not have a devoted website that I could find, I thought I would ask here. My guess is that cost killed the project. Is this true? At DGT prices plus other cost, how much would you say a 10 student lab would run?

Wow,what a hell of a chess room Ted,if I had one in my house,i'd rather look up there for weeks and let my wife handle the food and the drinks through a little window
