endgame table-bases for International-Draughts... don't be ridiculous... :D

But seriously: the Draughts (dammen) community is active too these days?

Act first. Think later. :D I don't defend that style but fact is: within 2 or 3 hours there exists a really slick interface to FICS / Joost server. Working like a charm, in no time. Is is dedicated to Selate engine for now but other engines can be arranged. And at lightning speed. Claude is something really. Clever chap.

With Codex I built a GUI for International Draughts, that took me a day, but it has literally everything, playing matches, round-robin, double-round-robin and Swiss between a large pool of engines, a book builder, a database, and more of these things.

There is not much computer draughts activity going on, basically because games between strong engines always end in a draw. There is nothing to gain anymore.

When you build a GUI for the chess-server don't forget to let Claude add time-seal too.
