Post by Wilhelm »

For all lovers of old chess engines from the golden age of chess programming, if there are any but me :D
Rating list updated, lot of new engines and games. WM-test 2024 all Banksia tests rerun with Myracle-Gui, and more...
Have fun!

Hi Paloma,
hmmm, it's working here. Also the three links below to single pictures. I test it in Brave and Firefox, no problem. Don't knew what I can do more. Maybe some other can try it to see where the problem is?

Hi Wilhelm,

I like your site a lot.

Yes: "The golden age of chess programmings 1985 - 2005".
I would like to say 1984 - 2005.

The first really strong chess-computers are 1983, more 1984 available, think so.
But in 1985 the revolution!

Keep up your good work.
It's always interesting to visit your site.

Best
Frank

Loud thinking ...
We are now experiencing the AI revolution.
Interesting is to build with AI a chess program with the open sources available in 2005.
Crafty, Fruit, Pedone, Gothmog (later Glaurung) and others ...

Than with open-sources available from 2005-2010, 2010-2015, 2015-2020, 2020-2022 before NN.
