Thank you! Compiled without a hitch.amchess wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 10:58 pm We are proud to announce the release of ShashChess 41.
This version represents a significant step forward in hybrid chess intelligence. We have aligned the architecture with Stockfish 18 while deeply integrating Alexander Shashin's principles to create an engine that doesn't just calculate, but "understands" the dynamic nature of the position.
Key Innovations:
GoldDigger Mode: An aggressive tactical approach that overcomes traditional pruning limits.
Actionable Intelligence: Evaluation output designed for human learning (Shashin Zones, Piece Activity Analysis).
WCCC Validation: Code audit approved at the World Computer Chess Championship.

Re: ShashChess
Sorry, I am new to this thread (and the engines discussed). What is the difference between ShashChess and Alexander engines in terms of their objectives or use cases? I briefly looked at the Alexander 8 wiki, and it looks very interesting. Am I right that Alexander is an HCE engine?

Hello!
This disgusting (and looping nonsense with funny voices) AI-slop is your Official Presentation?
Why invent words such as:
-STFAGY
-DEVEENE
and
-Rimnigh
-Ray Taioy
-Global lahtntahigle
-Ameatouchatoria
?
What do they mean, if they had to serve any purpose? And why did you settle for a 6x7 (or 7x9) "Chess board".
Infuriating and ugly it is.
Couldn't you've presented the program with a modern GUI and a real human explaining things?
