Thanks, I got a copy.
I have always enjoyed the pirates over the wall style of CSTal.
When you next speak to Ed, suggest he ramp up the extremism to absurd levels. This will produce even more wild games but will reduce Elo even more. No matter, the Elo is way above GM level anyway, so crippling it down more with wild play could bring it down to the level of ordinary strong humans, which would be a big bonus, no?
It certainly can be done, most simple way, create more aggressive neural nets.
Please do. The chess world doesn't need another world-class engine as much as it needs this.

Ed, you need to get this on the chess servers and hopefully entice Hikaru to play this beast. Perhaps, name it "Eats Super GM's" Line set! Then wait for a bite? lol
SuperGM:
Let me put it this way: Have you ever heard of Fischer? Kasparov? Carlsen?
CSTE:
Yes.
SuperGM:
Morons.
CSTE:
Really? In that case, I challenge you to a battle of chess.
Taking ideas is not a vice, it is a virtue. We have another word for this. It is called learning.
But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

In Fritz(20)- GUI it can be stopped from using its book only by editing .uci- file with space character after Bookfile= (have it still in subdirectory polyglot-books), even with Bookdetph=0, otherwise it yet gets used.
3 crashes in 325 test- positions, anyhow we know since a while, that latest Rebel- engines don't like Fritz (or the other way round ).
Edit: in Cutechess GUI (1.4.0) it's the same with book- usage as it is in Fritz. Simply letting book.bin in default setting untouched (as well as Bookdepth=0, Bookrandom=0) yet keeps engine using book.bin. Deleting book.bin in path (leaving field empty) stops that, regards

Thanks for the new version!

Can you post one of those 3 epds Fritz crashes, so I can reproduce?

This is what I do in cutechess :
book=rebel.bin bookdepth=20
Works.
