I know it should be there, only it does not appear on the screen. I can't see the lowest line in either window, the windows are too high. This is a 22 inch monitor.

Wrong direction - set it to 100%.

Yes, that helps. However, it is otherwise terrible to my eyes. I have problems with my vision so I can't go below 125.

On my wife's 24 inch screen the lowest lines are visible even with a setting of 125 %. I guess she would gladly swap monitors...

When all settings are made and the engines are defined in the engines.json file, you can switch back to a higher scale value...

The engines.json (in cutechess-config/cutechess-folder) file can also be edited with any text editor, instead of doing this in cutechessGUI.
There you can add or delete engines, too, using an editor.

Fantastic, many thanks for this and the financial investment you put into it. A great gift to the community.

I just downloaded it and will move to it. As Gabor says, the ability to resume tournaments has always been a big failing of CuteChess. Most of the time it didn't matter, but the odd power cut or unexpected need to shut down or reboot meant setting up the tournament again.

The fonts are larger than the fonts on my standard CuteChess 1.4.0 install, (maybe that is why Gabor has issues) but everything is there, I don't have the issues Gabor mentions. 1920 x 1080, scale 100%.

I don't have the issues I mentioned when set to 1920x1080, scale 100 %. My issues are at 125 %.

OK. I think it has always been the case that settings other than 100% can create issues in some applications. In the past the only reliable way for me of getting bigger fonts was to change the screen resolution itself or if the application itself had its own setting. I think things may have improved a bit over time, not sure. I think I tried 1600x900 at 100% and 1366x768 on smaller screens. On a 22" monitor 1600x900 may be worth a try.

My laptop has a setting I've not seen before - 1920 x 1200 at 125%, both showing as the recommended values. It is fine on that too.

A complete new feature is introduced: Decision Time. DT means the time, the engine needed to find (and hold) the move, which is finally played on the board. The DT is not only displayed in the engine-windows of cutechessGUI, but also stored by cutechess-cli in the pgn-comments. IMHO, DT is a very interesting information (how hard to find was the played move?), which is just thrown away by all other GUIs (stupid !).
Can the storing of that in the pgn be disabled in the config file ? For blitz games I don't think it has much value, to me anyway.
