Replying with your own words that seem to be nice according to your charter, otherwise I'm puzzled why didn't you selfban.
Will reply this "clown" to all of your messages as I should because I'm a nice person. This is the clown post in question on a statement made by the person you want to ban?Rebel wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 11:03 pmClown.LazySMP wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 10:54 pmThis claim that lazysmp can beat fruit is way off the mark anyway.Rebel wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2024 10:57 pmCode: Select all

Did Daniel misread or was it deliberately?
Your call please.

But never mind, I retract it, my bad.

How original of you
I bet you don't have the guts to apologize, like I did.

Re: when do we get moderator elections ?
So the moderator can just get away with such insults by simply retracting their statement? What is so special about your insult that it doesn't even deserve an apology, much less a ban?

Re: when do we get moderator elections ?
I thought I explained that. Viz got away with it first time too. Viz had the opportunity to apologize after Ed did so, and would not have suffered any corrective measures even if he had refrained from doing that. Instead he attacked Ed for apologizing.
IMO there is a huge difference between slight transgressions of decency in the heat of discussion, which you later repent for, and intentionally trying to annoy people as much as possible for an indefinite period, and persisting in that behavior even when warned. The latter also qualifies as stalking, which is not appreciated anywhere.

Re: when do we get moderator elections ?
This seems to be going off-topic. Can we just have the FG triumvirates make an honest statement on how they intend to stay moderator-for-life and get this over with? Talkchess is pretty much dead anyway, and I see no reason to stop its further demise.

That's indeed a way to look at it.

Re: when do we get moderator elections ?
I don't intend to stay moderator for life at all; in fact I would like to hand over the job as early as possible. As I frequently announced here.
It is just the ineptness of the membership in deciding on who they want to be moderator that prolongs the current situation.
