Chess324 Top 15 Round-Robin - RubiChess 20240817

Post by Modern Times »

This is my ongoing Top15 round-robin tournament of free engines only, using Stefah Pohl's unbalanced 3-move book Chess324_xxl_big_+090_+119.pgn played reversed sides per pairing. New versions replace previous versions, and new entrants cause the bottom engine to drop out. It is a revolving tournament rather than a ratings list, however I am showing Ordo Elo as well as the tournament scores.

RubiChess 20240817 has replaced version 20240112 and has jumped from 9th place to 8th place with an approx. +25 Elo gain

Clarity 7.2.0 at 16th place is pretty much within the error margins of 15th placed Stormphrax 5.0.0, so it stays in the tournament for now.

I think that you should consider testing Velvet 8.0.0. :)

I'll check it out, I must have missed it. I normally keep an eye on the various ratings lists to identify engines that were previously below the Top 15 but release a new version and potentially qualify to enter.

Ran a quick test, it is not strong enough at Chess324 to enter this Top 15 tournament. Standard chess could be different.
