The situation in my PYTHON League after 685 games:
Obsidian Python was not admitted to the PYTHON League because, contrary to the author's claims (2000 CElo - https://github.com/imranakki/OBSIDIAN), it is only a random mover.
If you want to see a heart attack game, you can find it below.
I retract. The engine is not a random mover but just a more curious engine (a weirder implementation of some known techniques). Below is a game with a really nice ending. The engine looks even better than Feeks!
Final point in my PYTHON League (a TC=4'+2" tournament):
A nice short execution coming from A0lite (the king of Python chess engines - congratulations to author !):
If there are other (fully functional) chess engines written in Python, I'm waiting for them at my tournament. There are many attempts on GitHub....unfortunately just attempts....
To establish the exact location in the hierarchy of the eleventh engine (written in Python) on which I have (thanks, again, Maestro Jim) I organized a small tour. Unfortunately, the engine is far from the 2000 CElo claimed by the author. However....the engine (Obsidian_Python-comes from Morocco) plays chess....
It is clear to me that the engine falls into the same category as Feeks and Valiant. Maximum 900 CElo points. Far from the 2000 claimed by the author (Imran AKKI-Morocco).
It just so happens that Valiant Mk8_x64 is the only chess engine written in Python (out of the eleven I have) tested by CCRL:
Sometimes OBSIDIAN_Python has nice moves (and games). You have an example below:
