which opening book was used to test Stockfish 16.1?

I use no book but about 10 different opening suites, mostly balanced like Febos from Frank or balanced openings from Pohl. But too one with uho and some older from Noomen and Silver. Each with 50 positions from A to E. I think, the faster compiles helped Stockfish much.

Which of your machines are avx512, vnni512 capable ?

Yes, as I read your email I wondered what the impact of this was.

I have a new notebook with AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX (with AVX512 and VNNI512)
The other notebook has an Intel Processor I7 11800H (with AVX512)
The desktop pcs are now only standby - they are not Windows 11 compatible.
