Meanwhile I got 10 timelosses by Torch and after talking to A.Grant, I decided to restart the testrun with Torch UCI-parameter MoveOverhead=500 (default is 100). This restart will delay the result of Torch until wednesday or thursday - sorry.

I haven't checked my own games just yet, I will do so later. But for my testing I limit concurrency to the core count, so it is hopefully less likely to be happening for me.

No time losses here so far (1000+ games) with default MoveOverhead=100, Cutechess margin 300ms, concurrency 8.

I restarted the testrun yesterday with Torch Move Overhead set to 500. Right now 2250 games played - all fine.
Result on wednesday/thursday.

timemargin is set to 2000. But J.Oster in german forum said, cutechess uses this timemargin only if cutechess is used with a fixed time per move level, not, when using a "regular" playing-level (like my 3min+1sec)...

Readme of cutechess-cli:

st=n Set the time limit for each move to n seconds. This option
cannot be used in combination with the tc option.
timemargin=n
Let engines go n milliseconds over the time limit.

So, J.Oster could be right...
