Maybe it has no privileges. Just guessing
So I now started a powershell with administrators rights but giving same error

Only difference when using powershell is that I have to use .\winboard
otherwise it even can't find winboard
No without winboard.
Start your thing directly from cmd.

dotnet "C:\Users\van en belt\source\repos\ChessLibraryCore\SkipperConsoleApp2\bin\Release\net6.0\SkipperConsoleApp2.dll"

starts my engine without winboard. So that gives no error

But I have to use winboard to connect with ics

winboard -zp -ics -icshost nightmare-chess.nl -icshelper timeseal -fcp "dotnet C:\Users\van en belt\s

zooming further in:

dotnet C:\Users\van en belt\s

isn't your name van Den belt? and thus the path incorrect?

Yes employee of mediamarkt created my acoount. So now it contains a typing error

I log in under my normal name so maybe it thinks I have no rights because names differ (just guessing)

So I can run my engine but can't connect with winboard

Ever considered developing a chess program under a sane operating system?
This is too painful.

No windows experts here? Or has it something to do with winboard. I am running cmd with administrator privileges so that can't be the reason why it does not work

I don't know linux too.

I don't want to make it more complicated on my machine.
