It is going to be a long slow struggle to make that extra pawn count but I feel that a position like this should be winnable if I am patient enough ... and don't make mistakes!

I'm sure that 24.R(2)f2 is being thought about for next move. (I'm not saying it should be played, but I can certainly understand it being contemplated).
