Chess position

Post by cms271828 »

I just tried a chess puzzle (number 10) from http://www.chess-poster.com/chess_probl ... e_in_9.htm

Its supposed to be a mate in 9 (17 plies) with key e3,
but my chess engine solves it in 8 (15 plies) with the key Bh2

I was curious to which solution is best, since if it is a mate in 9, then my engine has a bug.

I don't have any engine to test it with, so I thought I would try here.

Thanks
Colin

Colossus also believes that Bh2 is mate in 8
(presumably what your program found?)
