Hi there,
Is Stockfish 17 already available for use in CB on a snapdragon processor?

I am not aware of a compile from Stockfish for Windows on ARM,
https://stockfishchess.org/download/windows/
but, there is MS Prism to tun x86 binaries:
Snapdragon X Elite & Stockfish 16.1 benchmark?

I know. But that doesn't work.
There is a working compile for Stockfish 16.1 though, so i wonder if there is an update.

Re: Stockfish 17 on a snapdragon processor
I just saw this Stockfish issue from Gian-Carlo Pascutto that maybe has something to do with it? Stockfish ARM builds for Windows can be built, but the GitHub testing is only possible on paid GitHub accounts at the moment at least that is how I understood it? A lot of the tests are automatic scripts so understandable the Stockfish developers do not want to bypass that at the moment. But if some programmer has a compiler on the relevant platform, compile at your own risk?
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first
place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

It's better to use the Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch M4 MAX ARM CPU.

As we used once to say in a German tech forum, "Mit Linux wäre das nicht passiert.", or alike.

Well, I do have an Apple Studio, but I am trying to figure out if I can make SF17 work on a Snapdragon...

Maybe make a kind request to our maestro of chess engine compiling?

There must be others out there seeking for an SF compile on MS ARM.

It's simple, ask the Stockfish developers on discord:
Stockfish-X1
Latest version on my Arm V9.2a phone cpu has a clear speed up on 8cores
