Stockfish developer should have released Stockfish 17 with +50 elo improvement after Stockfish 16.1 and not with only +46 elo.

So what? For me, Stockfish 17 is just a number. All Stockfishes are dev-versions. From time to time one of them gets the "official release". No big deal for me.

I just started the testrun of Stockfish 240917 for my UHO-Top15 Ratinglist. Result in 5 days from now, if all works fine. Testing of Stockfish devs goes on...

So what we see now is that dev already wins more pairs than it loses or draws vs sf 15, it's actually pretty hard to show progress from there.
