Whenever I use a Chess GUI on old Windows 7 Pro laptop and try to load any UCI engine a command prompt opens with the engine output and the GUI usually crashes.
The only exception is LucasChess. LucasChess works fine with all UCI engines on Windows 7 Sp1 & last update pack, even
with the latest Stockfish 16.1 bmi2. exe ...
I don't know what the problem is and why LucasChess is the only GUI which does not open this bloody window?
The engines I try to load are supposed to work on the old Haswell CPU.

The Chessmaster GUI with Winboard Engine The King also does open a window.
Fruit 2.1 in WinBoard works.
