In a Blitz tournament, black's flag fell, but white player did not see it, made an impossible move and pressed the clock... both of them have enough material to checkmate. The clock is digital (DGT) !
Who wins ?

Re: Rules...
An impossible move must be taken back and if the piece touched can make a legal move, touch move then applies.Ponti wrote:In a Blitz tournament, black's flag fell, but white player did not see it, made an impossible move and pressed the clock... both of them have enough material to checkmate. The game then continues unless white notices that black has lost on time.
However, some blitz tourneys have rules, such as an impossible move loses.

Re: Rules...
I think FIDE´S ***Blitz*** rules points that an impossible move is a win to the opponent... am I wrong ?
