This position seems to be tough for the engines I have. Deep Junior 2010 seems to find it quickly after about 25 seconds on my quad, but Junior's evaluation of only 0.62 suggests that it doesn't know why 21.Bxh7 is the best move here. If your engine finds the solution it should show at least an eval of 3+.
Also notable about this position is the position of the black pieces.
The Queen and King are on either side of the Rooks and Bishops all lined up on the back rank with the Knights on top of them in the middle.

Hello Anton,
Actually Nxe4 is what most engines try to play and indeed it might win a long and drawn-out boring game

Remember, the eval should be at the very least +3.00 or better for white.

Re: Test Position: Georgiev vs Ionescu, UAE 1986 21.Bxh7!
spark taking 43 minutes on anton's HW is not a good sign.
andrew's test positions must always be greeted with a sense of foreboding, though i'll run a few engines on this anyway.
i think it's cute that DJ plays the move without fully understanding it (though for me its eval dropped from .62 to .22, so its probably only at a certain depth that it would play it). this is how i and i imagine some GMs play as well, speculatively/intuitively. i imagine in a fluid game situation junior would find the decisive combination after playing Bxh7+.
