WPG System64
an open source 64-bit Native Portable Build and Development Environment for Windows
http://www.cadforte.com/system64.html
News: GCC has had a nasty bug fixed that caused its own native building as
Win64 Native to be very difficult. Unfortunately, the bug affected some other
builds in rare cases, the only other confirmed case being ffmpeg (even passing
the testsuite), so it is very rare. I will be updating WPG System64, within
the next 24-72 hours. I will be including WxWidgets and Codeblocks in the new
WPG System64 release, and definitely rebuild ffmpeg.
Apparently there is a following for Mingw-w64 and WPG System64 from Chess
Programmers. Welcome! As above, Codeblocks IDE will be added to next release
of WPG64.

Re: WPG System64
Thanks for the plug! GCC 4.5.0 has been replaced for the new release (1.4b), fixing a nasty bug in gcc's internals, and hopefully gcc 4.4.2 (also bug-fixed) with working multilib.
I have gotten success reports building WxWidgets and Codeblocks, and will be including Codeblocks in the new release. I am working right now to get it out ASAP (1.4b.) I would also like to include Netbeans, but not now.
The lzma compression is extreme, it has compressed the 1.9gb to 300mb, not a heck of a lot bigger than a complete gcc 4.5.0 toolchain. The bigger it gets, the better the compression gets.
There are gcc toolchains hosted for all other platforms on the site, including Linux x86_64 and i686, and Cygwin.
Anyway, I wanted to post here to encourage feature requests. You can do so here, email to xenofears@gmail.com, or simply posting to the requests list on the Wiki. The chess programming audience is a big one, and I would like to give you what you want.
Hope you Enjoy!
