Re: 17th WCCC and the 14th Computer Olympiad
i am very happy to see pandix playing.
its cool that we can see all games on this spanish website.
the only thing i don't understand is that the game-score is not
accurate. they do not differenciate when e.g. which of the knights
moves to f6... so the game-score is not working ...
i would have expected a game-score kind of PGN.
isn't it a surprise that ICGA in 2009 is not capable to come with legal game-score ?!
As a natural Pandix fan i am looking forward to this game...

[Round "1"]
[White "Pandix"]
[Black "Shredder"]
[WhiteElo "2200"]
[BlackElo "2200"]

[Result "*"]
1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Qc2 Nc6 4. Nf3 d5 5. e3 Bf5 6. Qb3 e6
7. c5 Rb8 8. Bb5 Nd7 *
Is it possible to buy Pandix2009 somewhere ?
My last version of pandix is very old, was bought via Gambit-Soft
and was completely in red/green when i remember it right.
thats maybe 20 years ago ??

Re: 17th WCCC and the 14th Computer Olympiad
the old version of pandix was at a time where you had no hash,
no UCI and no windows. it was IMO a dos version with a very passive
playing style. a little alike the dedicated chess computers with pandix into
it.
difficult to say. depending on hardware used.
in 1993 e.g. in munich pandix did a very good job:
