My usual time controls, Crafty manage to promote to the premier league were it was once the freeware champ. Current version shows a lot of promise, after 50% of the games were finished it was showing a 55 point improvement, when I came back I realized that crafty lost many games towards the end which puts its improvement at 25 points over the previous best version. JA stands for the Mr. famous compiler by the way, I used books from Peter skinner.

As I said, I promoted crafty to the premier edition, so far the performance is nothing short of amazing, and another step like this will enable crafty to get back its top freeware spot.

Next to come, Scorpio 2.0, I didnt have much luck with the 1.9 series, so I am hoping that 2x will get in front of 1.84 in blitz.

There maybe a possibility that running the smp build of Crafty 21.6 on
a single-cpu computer may be degrading it's speed a tad.

Maybe better to use the single-cpu build in that case.

Crafty is winboard protocol only. You will need to use an adapter.
