Alaric 707

(8.5-11.5) Glaurung 2 epsilon/5
(7.5-12.5) Chess Tiger 2007.1
(12.0-8.0) CM9000 Enforcer
(10.5-9.5) SmarThink 1.00
(8.0-12.0) Scorpio 1.91
(12.5-7.5) Delfi 5.1
(11.0-9.0) SlowChess Blitz WV2.1
(11.0-9.0) CM10th Guardian
(11.0-9.0) Ruffian 2.1.0
(8.5-11.5) WildCat 7
(12.5-7.5) Pro Deo 1.2
(7.5-12.5) Gandalf 6

Chess Tiger 2007.1 & Gandalf 6.0 were tied for the top spot in scoring the best against Alaric. Scorpio was next, followed by Glaurung. All in all, it was a good event- and as always i give all the credit to the programmers. Their knowledge and very hard work made it all possible. Thanks, guys.

ERROR MADE IN ALARIC 707 GAUNTLET- CONCLUSION UPDATE!

Post by geots »

I made an error of sorts in my post with the conclusion of the Alaric 707 Gauntlet. I said that Chess Tiger 2007.1 and Gandalf 6.0 were tied for the top spot. While this is true, i stated that Glaurung 2-epsilon/5 came in 3rd place. Actually Glaurung was tied for the 3rd spot with WildCat 7. Not fair to the WildCat progammer for me to fail to mention that fact- as strong as his program is and how well it played.

Regards,

George
