Zappa Mexico, results on single CPU 32bit

I ran 120 matches with Zappa Mexico, considering that Zappa gains rather well from 64bit hardware, more CPU's and more time, my time control is sort of handicap for my favorite engine. However, the performance was worthy enough for me to make a post. It is currently ranked 14th among all available engines - Fritz, Junior and loop. Results of new Delfi version will be available soon. I noticed that I played it against two different versions of Sjeng, and old version of Zappa, but that probably wouldnt skew the ratings much.

At my time control, yes it is. I am a Zappa fan as well, and understand that to bring out the beast I need better hardware. Being the top 14 on the list isnt that bad, look at the list. Look at the top ten, I edited out some of the engines due to more than 1 version. May be I should edit out clonex as well, since it is essentially Fruit with different eval that would put Zappa Mexico at rank 13.

I wonder if public movei(hopefully with personality 10 10 10) is on your list.

I see that you tested trace against zappa but did not test latest movei against it and I wonder if trace is still stronger than movei in your list.

Uri, I kept pushing back the testing of Movei. I guess now that you asked I might have to do it. My usual rule is that the engine has to get the top 4 spot on 1st division to get to manipulator prince. Every engine that gets there stays there until I start the next edition, then the last four goes down a division. I guess I can make an exception for movei_438 and promote it directly after seeing the results from other groups. I am going to stop the testing of Delfi 5.2 right now and I will give movei a run.
