This version 2.3.3 J is well tuned vs Free Rybka and Toga ...

The 2 top free UCI engine the last 2 years

It managed to beat all free Top UCI engine ( Rybka,Toga, Pharaon ,Naum, Spike ,Glaurung...) in a 20 games match except Strelka.

It draw vs Fruit 2.3.1 .

It has a lot of difficulties vs Strelka 1.8 (a lot of controversy around Strelka ,illegal Clone or not? I don't know & I m not the one to decide)

(I will continue to test Strelka after Experts and famous chess engines authors like Bryan, Dann Corbit,Uri , Tord examined the code and conclude it is not a clone)

It was not a surprise to see Fruit lost against commercial Zappa
Mexico 8 CPU

I m running some test for Fruit beta... More version will be test ...

This one did well versus strong Free UCI engine

( Ryan told me this Fruit 2.3.3 j beta was not tuned especially vs rybka or Toga , anyway It did very well vs Them ) I will continue to test some beta they look like very strong ...

It would be interesting to notice that on 1 cpu Zappa Mexico is the same level or even below the level of Fruit (take a look at Thorsten Czub very good test ). (I will test it soon on 1 cpu to check the difference with 8 )

However on 8 CPU or more , Zappa Mexico is closed to Rybka SMP level .

It looks like This Fruit Beta is a improved version of 2.3.1 , Fruit 2.3.3j was very impressive .

Do you have any information about Fruit that will be SMP version ?

BTW, its a very nice to see tournaments on your 8 core super fast computer
