The Waiting List:

2 obvious reasons for Waiting List:

1. One or two Engine(s) to be put in the waiting list makes the prediction contest interesting and competitive.

2. Engines in waiting list usually do have a large database of games and they always finish in >10 ranking and stay at the same division.
Engines that got demoted wouldn't be added to the waiting list, they would be put in the one division below in the next edition whereas Engines in the waiting list don't get demoted but plays in the same division from next edition instead.

I did, that's the only reason I answered the post. Otherwise I would have said "I _would_ like to see Eden" (which I never would have said, because the other engines are far too strong for now).

But your adding it to your list gives me even more motivation to climb that ladder of rating! Just don't expect anything from Eden other than last place, with a big gap. Anything else would be insane.

Thanks, I'm sure it would get better than the last rank, anything can happen in 1+1, but not completely unexpected results for all engines

I would guess Eden will have chance to get around 10th at best, but let's see.With more updates,it would do even better.
