Dear All,

I want to buy a LAPTOP computer, can anyone help me which configuration i should buy to play engine vs engine in game room.
I mean strongest configaration till today.
Please give your opinion in this regards.

There are 64 processor computers playing at the game room at playchess. Can you afford let's say 100g's per year? Is your lap strong enough for a configuration that strong?

This quad-core laptop should be right for you.

Choose Q6700 CPU, 4096MB DDR2 800MHz RAM, and 3 7200 RPM hard disks.

Wow! I actually did not seriously mean it as something to buy, rather as something to drool on..

But good luck if you can afford it. I'd choose RAID 5 configuration if 3 drives are used, but depends on your needs.

If I had your budget to spend on chess I'd certainly not limit myself to a laptop.
