Yes, I hope the organizers can stage a broader championship if there is a 2008 tournament. Not just a pity that Hiarcs was not invited. It was a popular event for many programmers also because the sponsor provided for the hotel costs, so it was a little easier for the amateur programmers to come to the tournament. I think the other programs will just be competing for second place behind Rybka this year, but you never know... The hardware is more even in this tournament as the sponsor provides the computers, and the value of Jeroen Noomen's opening books is also eliminated for Rybka. So the chances for Spike, Johnny and Shredder are a little bit improved!
