Deep Sjeng 2.5 t2- error message !

Post by Sedat Canbaz »

I started to test Deep Sjeng 2.5 with 2 CPU,but what a pitty that
after each restart of Deep Sjeng 2.5 engine gives a error message.

I also notticed with task manager program that the Deep Sjeng 2.5 engine .exe does not terminating in the next rounds,in other words are appearing many (3- 4 ) Deep Sjeng 2.5.exe

For error picture:

For test conditions:
http://www.sedatchess.com/scct_60m10s_rules.html

Thise error messages happen under all guis, even under its own gui.

There is no any error messages only in eng-eng matches under Fritz, just becouse the gui does not restart the engines

Hi Sedat,

I have Deep Sjeng 2.5 1CPU running okay under the Shredder 10 GUI as well as the Fritz 10 GUI.
Haven't tried Arena yet though.

Regards, Graham.

I was waiting for results from you Sedat. Are you using the trial version? Also, do you get the same error message when using only 1 CPU.

Works fine in Arena. However, I had to fiddle with the purchase prompt until I paid for it.

Hi Sedat

Uuuhmmm ... i did many testgames before the release. It works fine in Chessbase and Shredder gui. At least on my quadcore it works with 1,2,3 and 4 cores.

However i will inform GC about this.

Cheers

No,i use registered version of DeepSjeng 2.5
Yes,i get the same error message even with one CPU and i think the reason is win xp 64bit
In this case i started to test DeepSjeng25 in eng-eng matches under Fritz and i hope 1-2 weeks to publish the results

Best,
Sedat
