Hi Roland,

I missed uploading the important files. I will fix this now. You also use the full src code in 'chest_xb_001_64_ja.zip'.

I checked out your ZZZZZZ 5 upload. Nice, well done. I did notice a bug when testing that ZZZZZZ 5. Engine moves
instantly when playing blitz 4|2 time control.

Thank you for testing and reporting. I will investigate.

Hi Jim,

got several Phalanx XXV UCI games flagged as lost, because of an illegal move when promoting.

Example last pgn line, with Phalanx as black while promoting it's a-pawn in a winning position:

Code: Select all

35. Kf2 {-6.50/25 3.59s} {black forfeits by illegal move a2a1} 1-0
I was using Myracle chess gui build 118 and this Phalanx version on linux:
466240 Feb 21 2026 phalanx_xxv_64_ja_uci_sse4_linux
Not sure if this was your latest released engine binary.
