Re: New engine releases & news H2 2025
OliThink 5.11.9(uci) released.
With many thanks to Jim Ablett, who contributed a lot.
From now on the UCI version will be in the master of https://github.com/olithink/OliThink/tree/master, while the Xboard (CECP) version is in https://github.com/olithink/OliThink/tree/xboard. It may be the last version of this kind.
The engine itself is identical, therefore the version number has not been changed.

No algorithmic changes -- just addressing a user experience issue with "ghost" console window popping up (https://github.com/cristivlas/sturddle-2/issues/11)

Good Morning Cristian,
that's good that you changed that.
Now ...
In Struddle directory is a 0 byte log file after start / end.
Maybe you can changed that too?
Thank you for your engine!
Best
Frank
BTW: Why you deactivated syzygy!
For a _young_ engine is syzygy support very rarely.
