Try new version DON 3.4.

It will work..

Thanks

Moderation: I've merged the DON announcements from the "Tournaments and Matches" forum into this thread.

had a quick look (with ChessPartner interface), works ok.

In ICCF correspondence chess lately i use different engines, eg. the latest Obsidian
(default) and sometimes Berserk because of the multipv (if there's only one move then
it's easy to decide upon the move ofcourse).

So a stupid question: you also use a leelanet ? (like Obsidian)
How does the engine compares for the rest to Obsidian, i wonder.
(yep i can read features etc) but in practice/strength i wonder if there's
really so much difference (eg. Don-Obsidian15 > 20 ELo or so ? );
Probably not in playing style (but then i may overlook some things)

Yes it is better in many ways.

Especially in multi-threaded, if you set threads more than 1 (like > 4) it scales better with threads.
Also in ponder mode on... DON is very dangerous and plays very aggressively.

And also good tactical game.

try it and let me know.

if you want latest changes.

Not working here.

I still get engine load error message, if I want to try and open the engine in Fritz GUI.

Not that I want to necessarily encourage cloning, and I can't speak for other versions of Fritz on other hardware, but it works fine here in the Fritz 19 64 bit GUI.

Congrats to the Stockfish team for their 3rd release in one week.
I think I'll wait until version 7.0, since by the time one could test a version, a "new one" has been released.

I only drop the comment here because despite unsubscribing from this thread multiple times, I keep getting the notifications.
Mods? Thread merger breaks things? Trolling me? Bugs?
