Not Knowing weather Ferret 1.00 v 258 was ever released or NOT make a person not knowledgeable about the rest of the chess software? I have been following chess engines since early 1987 when Mr. Kaufman was the publisher of the first Computer Chess Report, that is about 35 years ago, were you alive back then.
