No sorry. But it's a handful of simple standard C++ files and a single sargon-x86.asm 32 bit Intel assembly language file on Github. So someone who's motivated could no doubt make a Linux version.

EnkoChess rated 1694 by CCRl is giving Sargon a great match so far the score is 3 wins 3 lost and 4 draws, but here is the most interesting draw and opening that I have seen in years Clemenz (Mead-Basman-de Klerk-Welling) Opening

I am starting to understand Chessqueen's posting style. She always quotes a recent post to the thread even though typically her new post has nothing to do with that particular post. I find this a bit disconcerting, but each to their own I suppose. Personally, I only quote things that I am following up on.

I was only trying to find Sargon strength, That was all, but still very good and strong chess, to be from 1978

I do appreciate your interest, you are motivating me to improve my project which is a good thing.

I had another crazy idea this morning, to maybe (maybe) get Sargon 1978 to run much faster in the endgame. But if it's even possible it will be much much more work. I will write about the crazy idea once I get V1.01 released. I need to concentrate on that. V1.01 will be worthwhile. For example in the standard Philidor's smothered mate, Sargon 1978 calculates the mate in 4 PV at depth 7. But then it's quite likely to force repetition with endless Nf7+ Nh6+ Nf7+ .... instead. With with V1.01, it reliably plays out the mate once it discovers it.

It is a great idea that you have plan to improve Sargon to run much faster in the endgame, since I believe that by pure calculation and just by reaching depth 13 or 14 even without knowing the opposition principle, Sargon 78 can easily avoid playing the incorrect opposition move. As this position that I reached against one of the 20 games that I played Vs Sargon 78 V1.00 and this position is an excellent proof of the value of knowing the opposition as a mean of defense, that can easily break the barrier between a 1700 either engine without EGTB or even a human who does NOT know how to apply the distance opposition from behind his own pawn. If Sargon had played instead Kh1, there was nothing that I could have done, but instead it played Kf1 a blunder move?

I have spent far too much time on this this weekend, and I am still not ready to release properly.... BUT

I have put a Beta version at https://triplehappy.com/downloads/Sargo ... 01Beta.exe which is a strong release candidate.

Anyone who wants to experiment with it, please feel free to do so.

I thought that the repetition bug was fixed but the Beta in a winning position repeated three times :?:
