Thanks to LK, MJL and Yanquis for detailed and helpful replies.
As others have noted, with MTCS on for any reasonable period, infinite analysis stops working fairly soon.

Re: Komodo 12 and MCTS
That is just due to the allocated memory for the Monte Carlo node tree filling up. We are examining some other schemes that would use less memory, and if they do not work out, I will make a version with adjustable memory. It is likely not be very helpful in 32 bit machines, since most have rather small memory limited by what the CPU can address. But people with 64 bit machines with lots of memory would be able to search longer with it. One a typical machine, one thread, and depending on the CPU speed, the existing memory allocation should let you analyze a position for about 2.5 hours. But on MP machines and faster CPUs, this goes much faster. it is also likely position dependent. Endings with fewer pieces will expands node more quickly. Anyway, sorry for this limitation, which will be corrected once we know the best way.

Am I the only one who cannot go to the Komodo website? I get:
403 Forbidden
nginx
I have tried wiping my browsing history...and still get that message. I even 'google' and pull up the link to the website and get the message.

It is working for me. To rule out a DNS issue, you can try the direct ip. Just paste 188.166.167.63 into the URL line and see if that works.leavenfish wrote: ↑Sun May 20, 2018 6:11 am Am I the only one who cannot go to the Komodo website? I get:
