OpenTal - almost new engine

In my behalf I can say that I still does not play at full trothle with it, as ever happens when you begin to probe an engine, because you just play a little bit shallow and fast to see what happenes. I could see as you how supicious his moves are, BUT to defeat them you need a more slow, careful play. I am sure -???- I will win it IF I play my best....

I loaded arena 3.5.1 with opental. set level to 1 sec /move. (above picosend/move I have no chance. ) moved p k4 with white. It did not respond. loaded stockfish and moved almost straight away.

what should I be doing to get opental to work ?

(I like the idea of chess software thinking I know you are useless and am going to march straight to your king and mating and am going to safely sacrifice a piece in the process )

Which operating system are you using?

Also, the OpenTal distribution contains three different .exe files. Try opening each of them. A black window should appear. Type "bench" and see which one responds. Use that one.
