The first thing i saw that came up, after i clicked on this post, was the end drawn position. I didn't yet think who was which color.
But I was sure it was Carlson who was white, because i know him to be that kind of end-game wizard.
Question, when he gave up that exchange, just before the long endgame, did he do it as a drawing exchange?
If so, and if it was the best continuation, then it was brilliant.
Though i think we could expect the same from Anand also!
