The advantage of ponder is that each computer can utilize 100% percent of CPU and vast majority of RAM for one engine, during the entire game.

Please share few example games.

Nordlandia wrote:1. First you have to find out what COM port your computer is using on both.

In "Device Manager" look for COM.

With this will be the biggest problem of how to check.

How is the testing going so far?

You have to manually adjust engine as it was ready for infinite analysis, before starting the match. For example adjust for max core allocated for the engine and 50% if not 70% of memory (of course depending on time control).

Engine Tab -> Change Main Engine

It has both two computers so COM.

Image

When you click on Two Computer Match (all cables are connected) a window appears the same on two computers

Click on OK.

It appears another window the same on two computers - I emphasize Auto 232 2.0 - I remove the bird from the options Server Name - Click on OK.

Appears on one of the computers window.

On the second computer window appears.

I click in both windows on Ok and nothing happens.

Hey, - you're almost there now!

Are you sure both computers is using COM 3?

But you're doing one obvious mistake.

You can't mark "Master" on both windows" only one and "Opponent save"

Server name is not needed.

Mark "Master" on computer A and leave "Opponent save" unchecked.

On computer B remove cross in "Master" and check "Opponent save"

Then i recommend trying starting computer B then immediately computer A, if that didn't work then try click ok on computer A so B.
