Deep Fritz 12 size

Post by keres »

On my PC i've Fritz 12 ( 986 kb); yesterday i downloaded Deep Fritz 12 demo from ChessBase and i saw its size = 875 kb (?!?). How is it possible? DF12 is more little of Fritz 12? Or DF12 is more large after its activation (i don't make this)? Thanks for your reply

Hi there,

but it's the same version.
I think it have to do with the copy protection.

If you search more information I wrote a recension in German about this product.

Hi Frank,

do you know what the restrictions are on using the engine itself?

Cheers,
Graham.

I am not Frank, but: the restrictions are quite hard: You can't do ANYTHING with F12 engine!

Weirdly enough, it shows up in my Fritz 11 GUI :P and I can play against it, analyze with it (I think.....) etc., but it seems to move instantaneously.
