How about this?

http://www.gadgetgrid.com/2008/02/12/fo ... h-palm-os/

I have bought one of these some years ago; all 68000 (Dragonball)-compatible chess programs, that i installed, have been working good (Chess Tiger, Hiarcs 9.6, Chess Genius)

But there is a big problem with this watch: the battery lasts not longer than 1-2 days; then it has to be recharged (Li-Ion)

regards,
Robert

Thats the thing Robert......what on earth is wrong with solar powered handheld or wristheld devices? Is it that "they" want to sell us batteries? It is almost like technology is being withheld by market forces.

I just want to guess here....I hope you don't mind. Are we moving toward a wristheld personal computer that is solar powered? You know what I mean? Like those small Sharp computers but straped to your arm. Fully programmable etc.....

Obviously i can see plenty of computer chess/chess computer possibilities in that.

I think that these guys have the right idea in that they make accessable things that most would not like to carry around in their normal formats/packaging.

A scientific calculator is surely just the start. Gadget world is here to stay...no?

Plug me in regards

Clive was annoying.

I managed to get a horse racing program out of this.....

....but even Harm would struggle to get a chess program into it.

Then there was this.......

....even then....no chance........with 422 bytes?

Hmmmm.....

These days however we got this........

Trust me the girls will not fall at your feet, if you can get your arm from scraping the floor that is......

OK so its a bit bulky......but then we have not come that far.....

This is better if still too big.....

PDA -> WDA? Of course Chess must be in there somewhere or it's trash.....

:)

Let's hear it for the ugly watch. At least it's not that bad.
