1) Make arrangements for a moderately fast single core computer with 64bits windows installed

Autoseek - the gameend command is issued at end of game by most
interfaces and ICC will tell you "no such command". So make one.
Use the "alias" command to alias gameend to seek nnn; seek yyy; seek jjj;

type help alias and look up multialiasing which will allow three different
simultaneous seeks. I use G/5, G/15 and G/30.

I just bought myself a Core2Quad 2.4 GHZ, 250 GB Hard disk, 2 GB RAM.

Also, Can anyone tell me how to obtain a comp account for free for the duration of tournaments? I have a human membership account under my name. Is it possible to change that to comp account?

You can register a new account and let the admin know (from your human account) that you would also like a computer account....

Who is the administrator at ICC? I thought free membership was for 7 days? Can I get a 1 year membership for comp chess account because I paid 1 year membership to obtain human account.

I think so.. Log in to ICC and type /showadmin, it will show a list of admins that are online..

Then suppose that the name of admin is admin x, and the name of the newly created account is GoatX then type something similar to the one written below..

messages admin x I created a new account "goatx", I would like to play computer games with that account..
