Chess variant. 8x14

I have this idea for a chess variant 8x 14. Dog chess

The board is 8 files by 14 rows.
there is no en passant, and the pawns can move up to 4 squares on their first move
the setup of the pieces is starting from bottom left:
Dog,Cook, Elephant, Knight, Knight, Elephant,Cook, Dog
the second row is: Rook, knight, bishop, queen, king, bishop, knight, rook.
the third row is pawns.
The Cook can move 2 squares, forward, backwards, left, or right.
The Dog can move by jumping over one square diagonally. It captures on the square it lands on.
The Elepant moves 1 square any direction.
the knights move like the standard chess





Another idea for a chess variant, is making the squares larger so two pieces can be on the same square. for example, 1.f3 e5 2.Nf3
