My engine overview for around TOP-250 engines ...

Post by Frank Quisinsky »

Hi there,

over the past few months, I’ve made a few minor changes to my engine overview, which currently covers roughly the top 250 available engines. Some engines may be missing; I don’t always have a complete picture of the situation here, I am not member of Discord, no time for it.

I’ve now also included links to 32 GUIs, even though I maintain a separate overview of chess links. I’ve been trying to keep the list up to date for about a year now; you should be able to see what’s new at a glance. There are no ads or hidden web statistics, I’m not really interested in that stuff.

In the meantime, I’ve also started testing the engines myself. It’s called ETOC-G. All the listed engines have to play vs. the same set of 26 engines, so 26x50 games = 1,300 games to play. For this purpose, there’s a sort of diary. I use this diary to get my ramblings off my chest.

Everything can be accessed via the engine overview.

Every day "Live-Links" to test-runs are available, at the moment test-run 63 and 64 are still running.

Have fun ...
The song of the engines you know ... diary entry 28!
The topic is Oak-Island!
