Is Reckless already number 2 free engine?

Look at CCC https://www.chess.com/computer-chess-championship . My UHO test shows +16 elo from 0.8.0 - 0.9.0 after 1200 games.

From what I understand, the Reckless network is self-trained for DFRC (self play to generate DFRC positions, then scored with Reckless, and NN supervised learning on that data).

TCEC FRD4 is ongoing, and Reckless is killing the competition for now. Let's see if it reaches the final, against SF or LC0 (note that LC0 outperforms in TCEC because of the GPU hardware it gets which is not representative of a typical home computer).
Theory and practice sometimes clash. And when that happens, theory loses. Every single time.
