idea for a chess utility

Post by kasinp »

If this already exists, I would love to know:

I mark any part of my screen, be it a browser window or anywhere else, and have it recognize a chess position and convert it to, say, EPD. User can decide the side to move (or other flags). I am after typical 2-D chessboard images here, although given what's going on with AI, one day it could work with pictures of traditional chessboards as well :)

Try this

I have been using chessvision.ai for several months and I would rate it as excellent. It does take some time to learn to use it.
